As a strength and conditioning expert and coach, Dr. Justin Lima’s career spans Division I football at the highest levels — B1G, ACC, Ivy League, and CAA — including the 2015 Iowa Hawkeyes' 12-0 undefeated regular season and a 2016 Rose Bowl berth. His athletes include 30 NFL Draft picks, 12 Pro Bowlers, 7 All-Pro selections, and 8 Super Bowl champions, as well as multiple All-Conference Track & Field throwers and team champions.
Dr. Lima serves in various roles within the National Strength and Conditioning Association and on multiple committees for various governing bodies of strength and conditioning. Holding a Ph.D. in Health and Human Performance from Concordia University Chicago and a Master of Science in Strength and Conditioning from Bridgewater State University, he is committed to optimizing SCN as the premier platform for strength coaches to pave a real path forward to elevate pay, personal life, progression and purpose.
A devoted family man, Dr. Lima lives with his wife and two sons in Iowa — the same state where much of his career was built and where his dedication to the profession continues to thrive.

Kate Wright is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) with Division I experience across football, softball, soccer, tennis, track, and cross country at Towson University and Virginia Commonwealth University. At Towson, she worked alongside Coach Lima developing performance programs, supporting return-to-play, and serving as the primary liaison with Dietetics. Her coaching extends to private work with baseball, softball, lacrosse, and volleyball athletes, as well as competitive cheerleading, where she develops sport-specific strength and conditioning programs as an active elite cheer coach.
Kate holds a Master of Science in Human Performance & Nutrition from Liberty University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Maryland. She is a member of NSCA and runs KateAnnFit, a women's holistic health coaching practice.
